Local resident, Jason Moan, was awarded the Gold Medal at the 2nd Annual FGSA Homebrew Competition under dreary skies yesterday evening. The award, coupled with last year's Gold Medal at the same competition, makes Moan the first ever consecutive FGSA Homebrew Competition Gold Medal winner.
The competition consisted of a Nut Brown Ale, Mocha Stout, Imperial Stout, Belgian Trippel, Red ESB, and my Double India Pale Lager. The prize money ($40) will likely be used to take my support team (Jessie) out "somewhere nice".
