Back to work...

Well the last month has been a wild one and we're now settled in to Clayton, North Carolina which is sure to become a brewing mecca. The last month has taken us on several trips through Greensboro, North Carolina, home of (in my opinion) the best brewpub in the south: Natty Greene's Brewpub. With Natty Greene's growlers in hand, I've been able to prepare the new location for the brewing prowess that is Two Thumbs Brewing. I am also happy to report that the Two Thumbs satellite brewery in Casper, Wyoming is up and brewing. Bottling coming up this weekend!

I thought I'd give an update on the hops which successfully made the trek from Blacksburg, Virginia to Clayton. Apparently the North Carolina weather was all they needed to reach their full potential. Both hops have been growing like mad since we arrived here. The Cascade is on the right and the Centennial is on the left.

And despite it being the first year of growth, both hops appear to be developing baby hops. The first photo is the Cascade hops forming and the second is the Centennial.

More updates coming soon!
