Well, last Saturday marks the beginning of my 29th year. And what better way to spend my birthday than creating a belgian-style blonde ale. I've been making a lot of large beers lately, however this one is more of a light summertime ale. If all goes as planned the finished product will weigh in at about 4.5% ABV. I've used a belgian yeast strain in the hopes of adding the slightest hint of banana.
In other news, the small-batch doppelbock is currently lagering in the kegerator, where it will remain until mid-february.
